Three weeks to load in day! Along with taking on several new design projects, we have been busy organizing the move to our new office space. We have invested in several keys pieces (office furniture, steel/salvaged wood custom desks, vintage lamps etc.) – Cha Ching!
Going into deep debt to outfit our office is not in our game plan but that doesn’t mean we are willing to sacrifice the look we want to represent Kandrac & Kole Interior Designs!
No fear – we are very excited about our recent, cost effective selections. Our conference room has a wall that is 12′ wide. We have decided to take (9) Ikea wood stretchers and turn vintage fabrics into art that inspires us every day.
So for $4.99 each, we’ll take these…..
And combine them with vintage fabrics like these…..
Next we had to address organization in the office. Joann and I are both neat freaks (ok I’m really OCD) so having a clutter free, organized office is paramount.
We fell in love with the Ikea Expedit bookcase first (for $99 – that’s practically stealing). How great are these cubbies to house current projects in progress?
Next, we needed uber storage for all of our design catalogs. We love the hefty, strong Ikea Lack Bookcases.
No sore backs and butts in this office – for $59 (that IS stealing), we LOVE the Allak Swivel Chair in white leather.
Next, we have to go buy lots of beer for our loyal team of guys to have a “put all the Ikea stuff together” party…… Then it’s time to paint the conference room chairs glossy Hibiscus Pink and cover the seats in white patent leather – FUN!
