For the second year in a row, we made it a priority to attend the Spotlight on Art event held at the Trinity School in Atlanta. Since 1982, Spotlight on Art has introduced art lovers to new works by some of the Southeast’s greatest established and emerging artists. The show features original art by 350 artists in categories such as contemporary, realism, folk, whimsical, sculpture, pottery, jewelry, and garden. It is open to the public with free parking and admission.
I purchased a print from one of my favorite artists Teil Duncan.
Here’s just a small preview of many of the pieces I loved. If you live in Atlanta and you appreciate original art, you MUST make it to this wonderful event that runs until February 4, 2017 at 6pm at Trinity School on Northside Drive.
I know from last year that every day of the show is different because as art sells, they bring out more!!! I wish I had some empty walls in my house but then again I would have been in BIG trouble with this much fabulousness in one spot. For now, my new Teil Duncan will be added to my gallery in my office.
