While attending the High Point Market, there is a lot more to see than just furniture. Designers, retailers and manufacturers from all over the country (and internationally) gather here, so there is a multitude of styles all in one place. This year I focused on the daring ladies who wear high heels to walk just a portion of the the 11.5 million square feet of show space.
Check out these beauties worn by Mary McDonald, the award winning Los Angeles based designer and star of TV’s “Million Dollar Decorators“. She was rocking them at the Madcap Cottage Cocktail Party! It was the place to be seen.
How fun are these sparkly heels with the sexy stockings? These are modeled here by Julia Buckingham of Buckingham Interiors in Chicago and one of the five personalities that make up the popular Material Girls blog. (She was also at the Madcap Cottage party)
I was told by Meredith Morrison of Eastern Accents, one of our favorite luxury bedding lines, that these Jeffrey Campbell ‘Lita” Booties were “very comfortable”. I guess when you’re “young”, everything is comfortable 🙂
I caught one of my stylish friends, interior designer Holly Phillips of The English Room sporting these wedges. Holly is known for her sense of style and can always be found wearing something unique and fabulous (check out her blog HERE). Notice in the background, the sensible boots worn by Krista Nye Schwartz of Cloth and Kind. We had a great time at the Wesley Hall showroom which looked fabulous with partners Design Legacy and Dunes and Duchess.
Speaking of stylish………Lisa Mende of Lisa Mende Design never disappoints in the shoe department. Lisa writes the popular blog Lisa Mende Design and is very generous in sharing her design inspiration, tips and resources!
So, if you’re having a dilemma and can’t decide what heels to wear, do what Stacy Senior Allan of Thibaut Design does. She brings an assortment of shoe heights to the showroom and changes them as needed!!
