You might remember last Fall when I got the big itch to redesign my family room. Well, those of you who know me well know that once I get a bee in my bonnet, it doesn't go away. So I'd thought I'd follow up with you and show you the glorious results of my redesign!

So here's what it looked like:

My redesign started with several fabrics I found at the Wesley Hall showroom during the Highpoint Furniture Market.

Then my husband blessed the room with our first real art investment and the love of my life in my home. "Ring Around the Rosies" by artist Kim Schuessler is my true "Happy Image of the Day:)".

I kept the mantle decor the same as well as the tables but redid the rest. Mike and I never used to enjoy this room (the kids already took over the basement which I redid 2 years ago so this is the only place we have to go) - the furniture was uncomfortable, the lighting poor , the style no longer my taste. Now I can't wait to pour a glass of wine and relax after a long day in my turquoise chair!
