I've been blessed with 43 summers spent in Westhampton, NY on a family compound that has lent itself to endless happy memories. Every year, I have a little checklist of things I want to do even though I've repeated them every summer ...

It starts with coming home......

Then heading to the Beach Club.....

Stopping at the farm stand for corn, tomatoes and fresh made pies

or some more fresh flowers for the patio

Gotta have some lobsters with that corn!

If we head to my favorite restaurant (Sunwater's Grill), my good 'ol Jack Rodgers sandals will be on my feet (thank you Jildor Southampton)!

And my husband Mike will surely be donning head to toe Vineyard Vines (this is the Southampton shop).

I'll be sure to make a trip to Montauk to watch the surfers, eat at Montaco or the Ditch Witch and visit my college bud Linda.....

Or to East Hampton for a showhouse or just to take in the beauty....

Or my most favorite thing to do - a supper time cocktail cruise perusing the gorgeous homes from the water

There seem to be little bits of beauty everywhere.....

But nothing is greater than the memory of sun kissed love .....
