For the Love of Pink and Green

Six years ago when Kandrac & Kole Interior Designs, Inc. was born we began to develop our brand. We wanted to create a vibe that reflected our fun loving personalities while still representing ourselves as sophisticated, talented designers. My favorite color has always been pink - a luscious, deep pink. Joann's favorite color is green - think ryegrass green. So... we stayed true to what we love.

We had a slight worry that we wouldn't be taken seriously with our brand wrapped in pink and green, but we felt like it was the truest reflection of us as designers. Our office is bathed in pink and green and it is one energetic, happy place!

It comes naturally to us in design like in this little girls room we designed a few years back.

This year when Pantone declared Honeysuckle Pink the color of the year, we snickered just a bit.

I guess if Tory Burch says it's cool in design, then we were right all along.
