I am so honored and thrilled to say that I am Kandrac and Kole Interior Design’s new intern!  Like many of you reading this, I've been obsessed with home decor for quite a while now. The welcoming ladies here at Kandrac and Kole have made me so comfortable, and every day I learn more than I could ever imagine, all while having a blast! It sounds cliché but I have to pinch myself every time I walk through the door of the office in the morning, I have been waiting for this summer my whole life!

I am a rising senior (eek!) at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA, but I call Acworth my home. I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the superwoman team here at Kandrac and Kole!  Once I get over the initial shock (if I ever do) of actually landing this internship, I plan to learn as much as I can about products, business, and design!

I started out this summer with a bang; here I am helping with an install of a yummy new living room space!

To say that every day is different at Kandrac and Kole is an understatement! I’ve attended speaking events at Americasmart in Atlanta....

sourced products at Spiffy Stuff, a gorgeous, trade only design center...

and got to see all the beautiful new fabrics during a rep visit from Kravet, Lee Jofa, and Brunschwig & Fils!!

Even a day at the office is exciting! I’m learning to create client presentations, compile an editorial calendar, and even assemble light fixtures like this cool chandelier!

It’s safe to say that I am lucky to be learning from two of the best, and I can’t wait to see what other fun projects this summer brings!
