As we celebrate Martin Luther King Day, I thought it appropriate to post the table we re-purposed for the United Methodist Children's Home through Room Service Atlanta.

As we shared with you in several posts, we were so honored to participate in this project and are very proud that this table will serve as a conference/meeting table for the boys living in the home.

Our amazing faux painter Joan Borawski of Joan of Art Brushed and Beyond transformed this table with a Martin Luther King quote we thought was extremely appropriate for the young men who will occupy this space.

The before and after really shows that you should seriously think about what can be done to a piece of furniture before you're ready to throw it to the curb.
