Antlers, Anyone?

It’s funny how once you start looking for something you seem to notice it everywhere! At least that’s the case for us with antlers. Since we have started working with a client who has a beautiful collection of taxidermy, including a Kodiak bear and a bison, we have been lucky enough to see this trend spreading.

We posted HERE about Summer Loftin Antiques’ room at the Cathedral Antiques Show Inspiration House. She had some show-stopping pieces like this giraffe!

All these animals have really got us thinking, there has to be some unique ways to incorporate taxidermy into our homes.  We’re designers, finding solutions is what we do! Like turning a pair of antlers into a jewelry display! This beauty is attractive and functional, made by Blair Badge.

For a more “woodsy” look, this assembled driftwood head was sold by The Loaded Truck, who sells loads of cool "worldly" stuff!

There are so many ways to “re-create” taxidermy for your home, but we have to admit, we’re still partial to the real thing!  Read about our great finds at Kudzu Antiques HERE! Check out our Pinterest board HERE for more ideas!

So, antlers or not, that is the question.
