A Little Anna French Inspiration
It's always a good day at the office when a new fabric book comes in. As you can tell from our workroom we are inundated with glorious textiles from Thibaut, Duralee, Fabricut, Norbar, Stout, Kravet, Schumacher, Cowtan & Tout and more!
Getting a new book in the office is a perfect excuse to take a little break and skim through the treasure that has just arrived. Today we had an extra special surprise sitting in our workroom, the new Anna French Rue de Seine book from Thibaut! You can just tell by the book cover that Rue de Seine is going to be filled with soft linens and some lively orchid as Thibaut is ahead of the curve with this year's Pantone color!
This embroidered linen, Twiggy Floral Embroidery, is beautiful to behold.
It is the epitome of sophisticated feminine design when it is paired with this petite purple plaid!
This sheer dot embroidery is a great neutral when you need a basic fabric with a little extra interest.
And then the plaids.. oh the plaids! Menswear was a big look this year at Highpoint and we can't wait to incorporate one of these handsome fabrics into a design.
Anna French's embroideries are always breath-taking. This slate on natural Deilen Embroidery is just right for a gray room with some beige accents.
And holy chevron heaven…
Each color way was even better than the one before it.
I couldn't help myself, I had to create a little ode to orchid to celebrate all of the goodies in this new book.
The Anna French Twiggy Floral and the Laurence Plaid were perfectly paired with two other Anna French favorites, Jack Sack Olive linen and Ballad Embroidery White. Add in some honed marble, some slate stained wood and a new palette was born. Of course this imaginary space wouldn't be complete with out a Currey Celeste Chandelier and a coat of Sherwin-Williams Delightful paint. The Solon table lamp also from Currey and the Mamba Rug from Surya are the icing on the cake!
Thank you Thibaut for the orchid inspiration and the great excuse for a little playtime!
