My Favorite Light Fixtures

If our clients only knew the amount of mind numbing, eye crossing time we spent finding the absolute perfect light fixture for every room, corner and hallway of their home, they'd pay us triple what they already do (ok - that's in my dreams).

Recently we put together an entire lighting package for a new 6, 000 sq. foot house in midtown Atlanta so I figured I might as well share some of the fixtures that made the cut (and others that didn't) because quite frankly, they are all fantastic.

This one will be in the front living room - so mod, so sophisticated - the Aerial Chandelier form Currey & Company

The client loved this one from West Elm for the dining room.

These sconces from Robert Abbey will be in the living room and dining room - so sexy!

This chandelier ultimately didn't work for the dining room but I just love it. It's the Caviar Staggered Pendant from Arteriors.

Oh boy did I agonize over the pendants in the kitchen. One of my favorites is the Mason Pendant from Arteriors.

I also loved the Panorama Pendant from Currey & Co.

I don't think we design a single project without turning to Visual Comfort & Co. I didn't use this chandelier in this project but it's one of my all time favorites.

Another classic from Visual Comfort that I adore is the Large Baltic Lantern.

We put this fixture in the laundry room and closets to replace the builder "boob" lights - the Jonathan Adler Parker Flushmount for Robert Abbey

boobWe try never to repeat a selection in our designs but I have to admit we've used this Orb chandelier from Currey three times. It's a show stopper without being too outlandish.

I put this one in the kitchen - I love the sophistication and simplicity of the scalloped shade.  This is the Rittenhouse Chandelier from Arteriors.

I think this blog post could be a series because I honestly have so many favorites!!

The variety of fixtures shows you how hard we work to appeal to our clients wishes and the aesthetic that we think will best fit their project.

So stay tuned for more favorites!!
