Lovely Laundry Rooms
Kelly and I are so excited to be designing the laundry room for the Charleston Symphony League Show House that opens March 16th through April 15th, 2017.
This is us last week in Charleston visiting the house. It sure is a beauty!
Here is the press release:

Even though laundry rooms don't seem that exciting, they really are! It's a small space that can have a big impact.
Check out some of these beauties!
In this design by Marcus Mohon the washer and dryer, which had been side by side, are stacked, which freed up room for a dog bed and shower. The shower is designed to do almost everything a utility sink can do, but it can also be used to wash dogs. So smart!!

I love the farmhouse sink, great storage and statement lighting!
It's amazing what wallpaper and a pop of color can do to make a space look happy. Design by Carla Lane Interiors.
Designer Sarah Walker of The Curated House Blog completed this incredible laundry room renovation in just 6 weeks for the 2015 Fall Edition One Room Challenge - You can read about it here featuring Waiting on Martha, Sherry Hart of Design Indulgence, Coco Kelley, The English Room and many more......
Here is a Kandrac & Kole design. We especially love to use wallpaper in laundry rooms, small baths and dining rooms. This Thibaut wallpaper is a favorite. We created this cheery laundry room for a busy Atlanta family. Check out the whimsical clothespin cabinet hardware by Michael Aram.
The fun laundry room features a bright green stool with a harlequin stem wallpaper by Lucy Interior Design. I love how the wall paper reflects on the metal circles of the wash and dryer.
This might be a bit wild, but what the heck, laundry is a chore, make it fun!

Well, I can't reveal anything about our laundry room at the show house, but I CAN tell you that it does include wallpaper, some incredible original art and a special treatment to the ceiling! We would love for you to take a trip to Charleston to view this amazing historic home. You can click here to purchase tickets!
