One Room Challenge - The Final Reveal!

All professional photography by Catrina Maxwell of CatMax Photography

Before we show you all the beauty, let us remind you of the BEAST….

Our podcast studio was the ugly stepchild of our office in a back overflow room.

To see the entire transformation week by week, just a reminder that this is the 7th and final blog of our journey. To start from the beginning, click HERE.

How we stood it for 18 months, I’ll never know. The wires alone give me anxiety!

Remember this wall of extra fabrics?

Well we purged a bunch and then the rest went into our downstairs kitchen that wasn’t being used. In it’s place is now an art gallery that we are so proud of! Featuring many of the female artists we admire - Windy O’Connor (the big designer Chica), Taylor Cox (the little beach scene), Pamela Copeman (the pink dress), Gee Gee Collins (the colorful nude), Laura Park (the abstract on the far left) and a variety of colorful extras from our sponsor Minted.com. It makes us SO HAPPY and reminds us of the incredible talent that surrounds us in our industry. (Psst.. note all the colors support our brand palette)

How about this wall of chaos? Organized? Yes. Ugly? Yes. Time to hide.

VOILA! Thanks to Tracie Bresnahan with Custom Creations for creating this solution for us! The luscious indigo fabric is from our sponsor Fabricut.

When shut, the panels serve as an effective sound barrier for our recordings and a pretty backdrop for Zoom calls!

This portion of the BEFORE studio was so sad…..

What a breath of fresh air thanks to Calico Corners, Custom Creations and Currey & Company! Storage, more sound control and sheer beauty!

Let’s take a close look at our statement lighting from Blueprint Lighting. It really makes the room!

The right wall was blah and boring but not anymore! We turned to Emory Kole (Kelly’s daughter) to create our logo and then sent the file to Sticker You. It looks like it’s painted on the wall!

A huge shout out to our talented friend Catrina Maxwell with CatMax Photography for all the beautiful photography in this post. If you are in need of a photographer for interiors, events or headshots, please give Catrina a call!

Whenever we have a shoot with Catrina, we ask her to take a few headshots for us. We have quite an inventory now!

THANK YOU!
