Episode 213 – Marketing & Branding for Designers and Brands With Guest Ericka Saurit
In this episode, we are delighted to speak with Ericka Saurit, an expert in branding for creatives. We met her two years ago at the Design Influencers Conference in Atlanta where she was a speaker, and then again at the Vacation Rental Design Summit in High Point. She is very cool, very talented and has a business you all need to know about.
This episode is sponsored by Saurit Creative. Ericka Saurit leverages a 23+ year global career in design and marketing to transform brands in the home industry with a process centered on strategy, storytelling, and insight.
She began her career as an interior designer, working with ESI/NBBJ in New York and Ralph Appelbaum Associates in Beijing for numerous cultural and hospitality clients throughout Asia, the United States, and Europe.
In 2011 she transitioned to a career in brand marketing for the design industry, continuing her studies in marketing and business strategy at the University of California, Berkeley. A former design educator, she also holds a master’s degree in Interior Architecture and certifications in Brand Storytelling from IDEO, Brand Strategy, and Social Media Marketing.
As a global brand marketing leader, she has overseen digital product development and brand strategy at Airbnb in San Francisco, created immersive physical and virtual brand experiences for Tag Heuer and Estee Lauder, and worked with top home and lifestyle brands around the world to develop award-winning brand messaging and engagement campaigns.
