More Design Inspirations from Scott's Antique Market

As I wrote about the other day, there seems to be "themes" every month we visit Scott's Antique Market. Maybe it's just the juxtaposition of smart vendors bringing products to the public that are being showcased in Shelter Magazines. One example is authentic tortoise shells.

I love how Nate Berkus used this tortoise shell in his Chicago apartment as shown in Elle Decor:

So when we saw this bucket of tortoise shells, I was thrilled! A little bleach and some lacquer, and one lucky client will have a gorgeous gallery on their wall (I'm still kicking myself that I didn't get some for myself).

A vendor inside had a clever display that I thought was really pretty.

If you don't follow the Centsational Girl blog, we recommend you do! Kate recently blogged about a West Elm/Etsy event that had this great display using colored bottles.

So when I saw this great display of bottles in all shapes and colors, my mind was spinning with ideas.

I like these adorable ink wells even more!

In the end, it's all about how you market something - right? It's up to your creative genius (or at least finding those more creative than yourself and allowing them to inspire you!).  Kinda like this - why spend money on an expensive sign when you can get your information across like this?

From Resurrect Antiques, this is beautifully said if you ask me.....
