Jason Wu for Brizo - Fashion Week 2012

Sometimes, life comes full circle.Back in 2009, Joann and I were honored to design a table for DIFFA'S (Design Industries Foundation fighting AIDS), Dining by Design event in Atlanta. One of the most exciting moments for us during this event was finding out that our table would be right next to the table that Jason Wu designed for Elit by Stolichnaya. To be in the company of such an elite designer was exhilarating for us!Fast forward to 2012 and it's time to clink glasses once again with Jason Wu!! Brizo, the faucet brand for the fashion forward, invited me to New York to see its newest products (featuring Jason's latest designs) and attend an exclusive expenses-paid, design-focused event during Fashion Week - Sept. 5-7 in NYC.This invitation-only event brings together some of the country’s top names in interior design for a three-day workshop, brand immersion session and networking experience. The program culminates at the Jason Wu fashion show, where myself and 18 other designer/bloggers will preview Jason Wu's Spring/Summer 2013 runway collection and celebrate with him at a private cocktail reception that evening. I'm dying!!!  This is SUCH an honor!

I would bet that the average Joe doesn't realize how innovative, efficient and downright beautiful a plumbing fixture can be!  That's what you've got me for - I'm happy to share the love!  Start drooling....

So elegant and so different...

It's easy to see why a collaboration between Jason Wu and Brizo would be natural. Inspiration has to come from somewhere so it might as well be the runway!

Jason obviously thinks pink is HOT so we are sure to get along well at the After Party at the MPE Penthouse!
