Kelly's Master Bathroom Renovation - The Design Phase
Let me say this - every penny we charge our clients for kitchen & bath renovation design is WORTH IT! This is SO time consuming!! Joann - will you do this for me????
The design is coming together slowly but surely. My jump off inspiration was this Thibaut wallpaper that I am ga ga over. (It's only going on the 3 walls around the potty room). The pattern is Donegal (T13004) in Blue and White.
I'm pulling in the paint colors from my baster bedroom which I redid last year. The walls will be Sherwin Williams Windsor Greige (SW7528), the ceiling Maison Blanche (SW7526) and the inside of the potty room Indigo Batik (SW7602).
The score of the week was this Ann Sacks tile in Deep Blue. It's perfect for the shower floor and for inside the shampoo niches for an eye-catching POP of color in a small dose. I still haven't nabbed the exact Carrera Marble slab for the counter tops but have no fear - I will!
The rest of the flooring will be this vein cut, honed limestone in 12" x 24" tiles. We chose it for a client and I've loved it ever since.
The cabinet design is underway. I chose the cabinet door style on the left in "Zinc with Slate Accent". Perfectly zen for me.
Next up! Finalizing the tub, the faucets (of course they will be Brizo) and the lighting.
Stay tuned! This will be a long but adventurous series!
