5 Steps to a HGTV Front Door
Now that it's finally cooling off and we are actually enjoying our time outside you may have noticed that your front door is looking a little desperate. HGTV magazine showcases a "front door of the month" in each issue. What a great "pick me up" for the front of your home!
It's no secret that we have a slight obsession with black and white- see our Pinterest Board HERE and our What's New What's Next blog post HERE. One of our all-time favorite HGTV doors was this classic black beauty.
Love it as much as we do? Here are 5 ways to duplicate this door, compliments of HGTV Magazine.
1. The Paint
Freshen up your existing door with a coat of this sleek shade: Deepest Black trimmed in Bright White both from Glidden Trim & Door.
2. The Mat
This sweet fade-resistant mat is made from 100% coir and can be found at Coco Mats and More.
3. The Beefy Planters
The scale of these containers is key. They are generous in size and filled with our fall favorite-ferns. They are from Mayne Fairfield at hayneedle.com. Of course the personalization is they best part. You can find these oversized custom vinyl stickers from Single Story. The white on black is perfection!
4. The Turquoise Pendant
The only thing we love more than black and white just might be a pop of turquoise. This vintage style warehouse pendant is from Lighting Universe. Just in case turquoise isn't quite your cup of tea, this beauty comes in 28 other fascinating colors!
5. The Industrial Mailbox
Repurposed mailboxes are all the rage this season and this one is one of my faves. HGTV found this gem from Knobs N Knockers.com, but check out your local antique shops for some other hidden treasures.
If you could re-paint your front door any color, which color would you choose?
