Navy was Hot at High Point
One of our favorite things about our semi-annual trip to High Point Furniture Market is the opportunity to get an up-close sneak peek at what trends are coming in the world of interiors. Last market we saw gray, gray, and more gray. This year we are seeing blue and lots of it. Nothing says preppy and fresh like a room full of navy.
Want to see for yourself? Here's a run-down of our favorite navy spaces we spied this market.
This oh-so-sweet bedroom vignette from Century stole our hearts. The navy linen upholstered headboards were divinely paired with bold patterned stools and pillows.
Bernhardt hit a home run with this navy and white bone inlay table. We spotted it on the pre-market twitter chat and put it on our must-see list and we are so glad we did. It's even more funky in real life, especially paired with those furry ottomans.
Lexington Home Brands used navy in a more traditional room to up the cool factor. The navy leather ottoman is simply classic!
This dreamy line-up is from none other than Lacefield Designs. All of her pillows are breath-taking, but these velvet pillows with geometric tape were our absolute favorites! Isn't that navy and light blue combination cool?
The Lillian August for Hickory White showroom is always a room full of show-stopping pieces. This cozy vignette shows off so many trends from this market, but the light blue linen with velvet navy piping is our favorite part!
How about this Thibaut wallpaper behind a Palu bed?
Even the art companies were getting in on the trend. Wendover Art showcased this collection of blue hues in geometric prints.
Worlds Away is another one of our favorite stops. This set-up welcomed you to their corner of high point heaven and set the mood for a blue toned market. We'll take one of everything from the navy wallpaper to the striped lamps!
Last but certainly not least is this gem from CR Laine. That navy chesterfield sofa paired with the orange velvet spindle chairs is the epitome of chic. Don't you agree?
Have you caught a case of the blues?
