Our Last Install of 2013
We've been working on a house in Marietta all year and last week we gave the home office and some other areas some much needed TLC. As usual, our designs are chock full of custom details.
(Note: I didn't zhush up all these spaces before taking these photos but you get the gist ....)
Our client is an amateur bee keeper and that's all we needed to know to inspire her office design! Thanks to one of our favorite artists, Jay Scott, a custom piece of art hangs where a tv once was.
This wallpaper reminded us of the bees too. We refreshed Rebecca's favorite chair with a custom pillow made in Thibaut fabric and reframed artwork that was her fathers.
Thoughtful details make every design more special to our clients (and to us).
Our client is a busy attorney who needed a lot more storage in her office but the only available space was this narrow hallway. These credenzas from Home Decorators were the perfect solution.
There were other areas in the house that needed some Christmas love. Here's the foyer entry before -
And after ....
We renovated the kitchen earlier this year but this little nook still needed our magical touch.
Have no fear, color is here!
Now what to do with this ugly circuit breaker box?
A customized growth chart of course!
Our client gasped out loud when she saw this hand painted growth chart that all three of her kids can use.
Seeing the joy on her face was a great way to end 2013!
