The Marietta Farmer's Market
I am a HUGE fan of local farmer's markets. Yummy organic vegetables, fresh breads, pestos and hummus, local honey, shea butter, just picked strawberries and more. The Marietta Farmer's Market is a a regular event for me - especially on the 2nd and 4th weekends of the month when the artisans are there selling art, jewelry and candles.
Today I bought carrots, hydroponic lettuces, breakfast radishes and strawberries that were just picked yesterday!!
I couldn't resist a large cucumber lemonade on this hot Atlanta morning.
I purchased (3) of this great candles poured in wine, liquor and beer bottles for my new porch. I bought (3) of the little ones in a Becks, Corona Light and Smitten Golden Rye Ale bottles. The company that sells them is called Uncorked Candles. (Now that's a great summer time hostess gift).
Thankfully both my daughters appreciate the beauty and health of a farmer's market.
The Marietta Farmers Market is open year round! You still have time to go - they are open tomorrow (Sunday May 24th) from 12pm-3pm.
Happy Memorial Day!
