How to paint old furniture!
In honor of St. Patrick's Day, I wanted to share how to paint old furniture and show some great makeovers using my favorite "kelly green" color. There's nothing like giving new life to an old, tired piece of furniture!
I was so impressed with this project by Bethany ofDwellings by Devore.

The great thing about china cabinets is that you can pick them up at consignment shops, tag sales or on Craig's List for a steal. Some of my favorite pieces are those that are old, well built and have intense character to them.

It's amazing how a coat of paint can completely transform a piece.
And if you're having trouble finding a colorful light fixture (trust me, there really aren't many), this is an easy DIY project.
