Barbie Hires a Design Dream Team!

 A little birdie told us that Barbie was moving from Malibu and has put together a  dream team of interior designers. Don’t lie; you would have killed to be on that team!

 

She has chosen three women all whom are independent, successful and most importantly have the best taste in all matters of style to help her choose where to live and to design her new space.  So who are these lucky ladies??

First is the awesome fabric and wallpaper designer Lulu deKwaitkowski from LA. She says that she imagines Barbie living a fantasy indoor/outdoor life in India! Picture bold hues, vibrant printed fabrics with animal and floral motifs. Sounds pretty dreamy to me!

Next on the list is the one and only Trina Turk. She believes that Barbie is a classic California girl and wants her to have a lavish poolside cabana with bright colors and fabrics. Lush palm tress and patterned pool towels will help set the mood!

Last but certainly not least is Celerie Kemble of Kemble Interiors who says that Barbie is the ultimate career woman who deserves nothing but the best pied-a-terre in Manhattan- a cross-country trek for Barbie! The room features a show-stopping skylight with a super chic chandelier in the middle! The confident colors reflect Barbie’s upbeat personality and the feminine furniture suits her style!
