Kudzu Antiques - WOW!!!
I love being an interior designer in Atlanta. We are fortunate to have so many great shopping resources. Just some of my favorites - Scott's Antique Market, Lakewood 400. Atlanta Decorative Arts Center, Americasmart, and West Midtown Design District. Another love of mine is Kudzu Antiques, which until recently was on the other side of town in Decatur, GA. They just opened a new location in Sandy Springs on Roswell Road. All I can say is Holy #&@!! - It has been voted Best Atlanta Antique Store since 1979. Here's what you'll find there:
Antiques and primitives
Collectibles
Mid Century & Retro
Industrial and Re-purposed
Lighting and Lamps
Antique Art and Folk Art
Garden and Outdoor
Vintage Jewelery and Accessories
Upholstered Furniture
The Odd and Unusual
Seriously, this place is like going on a field trip. I couldn't stop snapping pictures while we were there!!
Antlers are all the rage, but how fun to use them to make a wreath!!
These bottles take me back to when I was a kid. I love using them now when entertaining and to style photographs!
How great would these animals look in a boy's room? This is what I love about this place. You just never know what you're going to find!!
This dealer had really unique coat racks made from repurposed, colorful wood. The hooks for this happen to be old spools!
The other thing I love about this place is their cards and napkins. I literally could read every one of them. They are all hilarious.
This dealer sure got creative with her sign with the use of Dominoes.
If you love to shop for fun, unique and creative items and don't live in the Atlanta area, you need to figure out a way to get here. :)
